LAKELAND, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team fell to Florida Southern 6-1 at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center on Tuesday afternoon.
The Tritons (9-9) fell to the Mocs (7-10) after dropping the doubles point and five of six singles matches.
Maya Soligo and Kylie Misdorp were the only doubles pairing to post a set win, falling 6-1. The No. 1 and No. 3 doubles were both shut out by their opponents.
Olivia Lindestaf picked up the lone point for Eckerd in the No. 2 singles. She defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-1 in straight sets.
Eckerd returns to play tomorrow, Wednesday, as they travel to Winter Park, Florida to face Rollins at 3:00 PM.
