ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd softball team was firing on all cylinders on Saturday as the Tritons produced an all-around outstanding performance at the Turley Athletic Complex, with a pair of walk-off run-rule victories, 9-0 and 8-0, against Post (Conn.). The Eckerd pitching staff stymied the Eagles' bats as Avery Beauchaine tossed a no-hitter with nine strikeouts in the opener, while Reese Founds and Brandilyn Reymer combined to twirl a no-hitter in game two.
Eckerd got on the board early in the opener with two runs in the opening frame as Hannah Taylor and Addisan Langston delivered a pair of RBI singles. EC tacked on four runs in the next frame on Ella Coiner's two-run single and RBIs from Taylor and Langston.
Lauren Margolis made it a 7-0 game in the third with an RBI single. Coiner ended the game in the fifth on a two-run homerun to straight-on center field. Beauchaine dazzled in the circle, keeping hitters off-balance, with nine strikeouts. She allowed three walks.
Founds and Reymer combined to echo Beauchaine's performance in game two, with a combined no-hitter and eight strikeouts.
Eckerd broke through in the third inning as Margolis and Taylor added back-to-back homeruns with Margolis' being a two-run shot. The Tritons added three runs in the fourth on RBIs by Margolis and Coiner and a run scored on an error. Coiner added another RBI in the fifth while Margolis' sacrifice fly ended the game in the fifth.

- Beauchaine became the first Tritons to toss a no-hitter since Nikole Van Gennep on March 31, 2017.
- Beauchaine's nine strikeouts are a career-high. It's the most in a single game by a pitcher this season.
- Coiner's homerun was her second of the year, while Taylor added her third, and Margolis added her fourth.
- Coiner went 5-for-7 with six RBIs and four runs on the day. Margolis went 3-for-6 with five RBIs and two runs.
