HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Neither team was able to generate any offense as the Eckerd men's soccer played to a scoreless draw on the road at Alabama in Huntsville on Sunday afternoon.
The Tritons had a pair of corner kicks in the 18th and 23rd minute but could not find an opportunity both times. The Chargers registered the first shot of the game in the 32nd minute, which was turned back by Aidan Leak. Eckerd could not record a shot in the opening stanza, entering intermission tied at 0-0.
Eckerd again had two early corner kicks in the second frame but could not place a shot. The Tritons finally registered their first shot in the 67th minute as Tommy Shepherd missed high. Harry Laing gave EC its best scoring opportunity in the 69th minute, but his shot was turned back. UAH could not place a shot in the second half as the teams played to a draw.
