WINTER PARK, FLA. - The Eckerd baseball team fell 6-5 in its final non-conference matchup of the season at No. 9 Rollins on Tuesday night as the Tars walked off the game with a double.
An early lead for the Tritons was soiled by the Tars late in the ninth for the 6-5 loss. Kyle Ericsson and Peter Stavrakos opened the game with RBI singles for a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Darius Bradley added a one-run single to center field for a 3-0 advantage.
The Tars added their first tally in the fourth before regaining the lead in the fifth, 4-3. In the sixth, Rollins extended their favor to two, leading 5-3.
Tyler Young hit a two-run single through the left side to tie the game in the seventh. Sarringar closed the game for the Tars with a walk-off double to defeat Eckerd 6-5.
