ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The 19th annual Matthew T. McDermott Golf Tournament is scheduled for Monday, November 14, at the Bayou Club in Largo.
The format is a four-player scramble with a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. The cost is $150 per player. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Matthew T. McDermott Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support for outstanding Eckerd College student golfers.
Various sponsorship opportunities are also available.
The tournament celebrates the life and passion for golf of Matt McDermott, a 1989 Eckerd alumnus who tragically passed away on September 11, 2001, in the World Trade Center.
