ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Eckerd softball team collected 12 hits in a dominant 8-1 victory over Flagler (Fla.) Sunday afternoon at Flagler Field as it wrapped up play in the Old Coast Classic.
Hannah Perkins spun a no-hitter through the first three innings and ended the game allowing just four hits. The Tritons smashed six hits in a four-run second inning to take an early lead, and
Skylar Redish emptied the bases with a three-run double in the sixth as Eckerd built on its lead.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Tritons loaded the bases following three singles in the top of the second inning, where Ally Costa drove in the first run of the game with an infield single that brought Valerie Holguin home. Lauren Margolis ripped a 3-1 pitch up the middle that scored Hannah Famiano and Jessica Wilson. Kaylin Kramer followed with a single down the left field line to drive in Costa for Eckerd's fourth run of the inning.
- Perkins retired the first 11 batters she faced until Flagler broke up the no-hit bid with a single through the right side in the fourth.
- In the bottom of fifth, the Saints finally put a run on the board following a Maria Kappos double and she later came around to score on a groundout.
- Eckerd loaded the bases in the top of the sixth on as Kramer double and pair of walks to Meredith McGinnis and River Glenn. Redish delivered with a double ripped to left-center field clearing the bases as the Tritons took a commanding 7-1 lead.
- The Tritons added to their lead in the top of the seventh inning when Glenn singled to left field, which again loaded the bases for Eckerd. EC capitalized on a Flagler miscue that plated Margolis for the eighth run.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Redish went 1-for-2 on the day, driving in three RBIs.
- Perkins improves to 2-1 on the season with her third complete game. She allowed just one run on four hits while striking out three. She leads EC in the circle with a 1.11 ERA.
- Kramer went 2-for-3 with her team-leading fourth double of the season.
- Margolis also collected two hits while adding two RBIs.
- Ally Costa finished the four-game tournament going 7-for-16 with two RBIs.
