WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Eckerd men's soccer team scored twice in the second half Saturday night but fell on the road, 4-2, to No. 22 Palm Beach Atlantic.

KEY MOMENTS
- PBA got on the board quickly with a Cadu Cusatis goal in the seventh minute. Claudio Rivadeneira slid a pass to Cusatis at the edge of the box, where he sent in the early goal.
- Cusatis added another early goal in the 17th minute. Quenzi Huermann found Cusatis on the left edge of the box, where Cusatis sent in the goal to the far right corner.
- Eckerd's best chance of the first half came in the 36th minute on a Max Scherer shot, but his shot missed off frame.
- Agustin Pertusso nearly converted for the Tritons in the 58th minute, but his penalty kick was turned back by Sailfish keeper Patrick Nettekoven.
- Pedro Galvao got Eckerd on the board in the 72nd minute with a long-distance strike. His shot from the right-wing found the top of the far left corner to pull EC within one.
- Blake Barribeau found Thomas Spear inside the box on a throw-in in the 74th minute, where Spear sent in a header to the back of the net.
- Pertusso gave Eckerd a late goal rifling a long-range shot in the 84th minute that beat a diving Nettekoven.
- PBA scored two minutes later as Jack Burrows converted on a corner kick from Guillermo Deal.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Pertusso netted his conference-leading 12th goal of the season while Galvao scored his second goal of the season.
- Pertusso becomes the first Triton to score 12 goals in a season since Andrew Simmons in 1999.
- David Ormiston collected 10 saves in goal.
