WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd men's soccer team generated some late chances but was unable to notch an equalizer as the Tritons fell to Rollins on the road, 2-1.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Tars got on the board quickly after making several attacks down the left side. It finally paid off when Stefan Avram sent a short pass to Ray Gerke, who one-timed the ball past David Ormiston inside the right post in the 10th minute.
- Rollins doubled its lead in the 38th minute on an Avram goal as he finished a cross from Christian Adams.
- The Tritons got a goal back moments later as Juan David Tejada scored unassisted in the 44th minute after dribbling to the edge of the box and sending a shot across the Rollins goalkeeper into the bottom corner.
- Tejada had an excellent look at an equalizer in the 69th minute on a ball slotted back into the middle, but his hard strike sailed just over the crossbar.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Tejada's goal was his seventh of the season. Â It gave him 23 for his career, tying him with Andree Bitterer for sixth place on the program's career goals list.
- Rollins held a slight edge in shots (11-7) and shots on goal (5-3).
- The loss drops Eckerd into a three-way tie for seventh place in the conference standings with Tampa and Rollins.
