ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Eckerd's teams have a bit of a slow week at home with the regular seasons for fall sports nearing the end. Volleyball will be home Tuesday hosting Florida Southern and men's soccer will host Barry on Saturday for Senior Night. Women's golf, women's soccer, and coed sailing will also be in action this week on the road.
WOMEN'S GOLF

* Eckerd will travel to play in the Flagler Fall Slam in Saint Augustine on Monday and Tuesday. The Tritons played last week at the Saint Leo Invitational finishing 10th shooting 334-339.
Sarah Greene led Eckerd with 164 total, while freshman
Laila Forstmane shot 165.

* Eckerd (11-7, 4-6 SSC) is coming off a 1-2 performance last week, beating Florida Tech on the road and losing to Tampa and Embry-Riddle. Eckerd will host Florida Southern Tuesday and then will travel to Rollins on Friday and Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday.
* The Tritons' attack is led by
Paula Hoffmann with 219 kills. Hoffmann averages 3.59 kills per set tied for sixth in the conference. Behind Hoffmann lies a balanced attack of
Abbie O'Ferrell and
Stephanie Karlovics with 115 kills each.
Fernanda Reis also sets the Eckerd's attack with 673 assists on the season. She averages 10.04 assists per set, fourth-best in the conference.
* Eckerd leads the conference at the service line with 123 aces for an average of 1.84 per set. The Tritons have recorded double-digits in aces five times this season.
Arielle Erillo and Reis lead Eckerd with 31 and 28 aces respectively and sit first and third in the conference in aces.

Kaitlyn Sibson leads Eckerd's defense with 348 digs. Sibson averages 5.19 digs per set, ranking second in the conference.
* Florida Southern (15-6, 9-1 SSC) enters the match off two wins over the weekend, sweeping Barry and Nova Southeastern. Nicole Mattson leads the Mocs' attack with 312 kills and sits second in the conference in kills per set with 3.95. Anna Tovo is behind Mattson with 284 kills for an average of 3.59 per set, tied for sixth best in the conference.
* Rollins (8-10, 5-6 SSC) enters the week off a 1-1 week losing to Palm Beach Atlantic and beating Lynn. Bri Civiero and Shannon McDonough lead the Tars attack with 256 and 237 kills respectively, while Civiero is fourth in the conference with 3.82 kills per set.
* Palm Beach Atlantic (19-0, 11-0 SSC) enters the week off two wins over Lynn and Rollins. The Sailfish are led by Ally Rohn with 226 kills averaging 3.65 per set (fifth in the conference), 5.55 assists per set, and 3.13 digs per set. Maddie Span leads the defense with 85 total blocks, topping the conference with an average of 1.37 per set.
* This is the second time Eckerd has met each team this season, losing to each team in the first contest. In the loss to PBA, Hoffmann had 17 kills. Hoffmann had 23 kills and Sibson had 26 digs against Rollins. In the loss against Florida Southern, Hoffmann had nine kills while

Abby Sanchez. Linton has scored seven goals – second in the conference - while adding one assist. Sanchez has netted three goals and dished out five assists. Sanchez's 11 points are tied for sixth in the conference, while her five assists lead the conference.

Casey Winn leads Eckerd's defense with 63 saves, ranking fourth in the conference. Winn and the Eckerd defense have combined for four shutouts this season, three of which came in conference play.
* Barry (7-2-2, 5-1-2 SSC) enters off a, 2-0, week with wins over Saint Leo and Nova Southeastern. Amanda Traynor leads the Bucs attack with eight goals and one assist. Traynor's eight goals lead the conference. Christy Grimshaw also has five goals and one assist.
* An Eckerd win could put the team in position to host a first-round conference tournament contest. The picture will be a bit more clear after Wednesday's matches. The Tritons current sit in fourth place in the conference with 15 points. The No. 3 and 4 seeds host first-round contests in the SSC Tournament.

* Eckerd will travel to Charleston, South Carolina, for the SAISA Fall Coed Championships this weekend. Eckerd barely missed out on qualifying for the SAISA Match Race last weekend and finished 10th at the Mrs. Hurst Bowl at Dartmouth.
