ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Tritons return to a week of conference play as volleyball hosts Tampa Tuesday. Men's soccer hosts Florida Southern on Wednesday and women's soccer hosts Nova Southeastern for senior day on Saturday. The women's golf team and sailing will also be in action on the road.

* Eckerd will travel to Dade City Monday and Tuesday for the Saint Leo Fall Invitational. The Tritons last played two weeks ago at the Sand Shark Invitational placing 10th.
Maddison Davis paced the team shooting a pair of 83's and an 87 for a 25th place finish in the 72-woman field.

* Eckerd (10-5, 3-4 SSC) looks to carry the momentum of a 3-0 weekend at the South Region Crossover, where the Tritons upset No. 23 West Florida, into a week of three conference matches. Eckerd hosts Tampa on Tuesday night before traveling to Florida Tech on Friday and Embry-Riddle on Saturday.
* Eckerd's offense is led by
Paula Hoffmann with 200 kills. She sits third in the conference in kills per set (4.00). Behind Hoffmann lays a balanced attack of
Stephanie Karlovics (91 kills),
Abbie O'Ferrell (89), and
Kali Boatwright (83).
Mackenzie Redner has also emerged as of late, tallying 45 kills in three matches at the crossover while posting a career-high 20 kills against Lee (Tenn.).

Arielle Erillo and
Fernanda Reis set the tone for Eckerd with 0.53 and 0.46 aces per set respectively.
* Tampa (8-10, 3-4 SSC) enters the match coming off a 3-0 weekend at the South Region Crossover. The Spartans pose a balanced attack behind Nicole Dominguez (176 kills), Nylah Demps (156), Sorrel Houghton (152), and Taylor Fosler (130).
* Florida Tech (7-7, 2-6 SSC) also enters the week off a 3-0 weekend at the crossover. Olliva Hersey and Kelly Germain led the Panthers attack with 141 and 112 kills respectively.
* Embry-Riddle (7-7, 2-6 SSC) enters after a 3-0 weekend at the crossover as well. Melanie Canfield (205 kills) leads the Eagles attack followed by Erika Barbour (134) and Theresa Jordan (118). Olivia Roa leads the Eagles defense averaging 6.43 digs per set, topping the conference.
* Last season, Eckerd lost both matches to Tampa and split both series with Florida Tech and Embry-Riddle. In the win over Embry-Riddle, Redner had 17 kills while Boatwright had 15 kills at home against Florida Tech.

Sam Peirson and
Jamie Johar led Eckerd taking first overall in the A Division with 27 points at South Points #6. The team will travel this weekend to the Mrs. Hurst Bowl in Hanover, New Hampshire, and the SAISA Match Race Championships in Charleston, South Carolina.
