In his first three starts on the mound in March, Bivens went 3-0 and did not allow a run. On March 23, he was named the SSC Pitcher of the Week. Two days later, he earned NCBWA South Region Pitcher of the Week. 

Bivens pitched 21.2 innings during the month and has struck out 30 while allowing just 14 hits.
