Sandra Erikkson, from Halmstad, Sweden, led Eckerd to a third-place finish at the Invite at Innisbrook on September 23-24 to open the season. Eriksson carded rounds of 74-74-72 to tie for seventh place, her seventh top-10 finish of her career, including two at the Invite at Innisbrook (2023 and 2024). Last year, she became just the second Triton in program history to reach the NCAA Tournament.
