Thorarinsson, from Gardabaer, Iceland, scored the game-winning goal in the 83rd minute for the Tritons as they upset Division I opponent Stetson (Fla.) on September 24. Thorarinsson is the first Triton to garner Offensive Player of the Week honors in over 10 years, last won by Matt Dolan (twice) in the 2012 season. Thorarinsson has started eight of the Tritons' nine game this year.
