Joe Wike, from Liverpool, New York, earned the 2024 James R. Harley award and has been a four-year staple in the baseball lineup. He played 145 games over his career with a .273 batting average, 145 hits, 74 runs, 56 RBIs, and 17 stolen bases. He also boasts a .970 fielding percentage while contributing to 105 double plays at second base. As a team, Eckerd ranked third in the nation in double plays this year. He was tabbed to the All-SSC Defensive Team in 2022. He is a three-time recipient of the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll, a two-time recipient of the D2ADA Academic Achievement Award, and was tabbed to the CSC Academic All-District team last year. He is also a four-year member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
