Spillane, a midfielder from Dublin, Ireland, led the Tritons with six goals and two assists over the past month, including two game-winners. She collected SSC Offensive Player of the Week honors on October 16 after leading Eckerd to a dominant win over No. 16 Nova Southeastern. She contributed to four of the Tritons' five goals with a hat-trick, scoring in the ninth, 20th, and 39th minutes. She dished out an assist in the second half as well. She also logged a pair of goals in a 4-3 win over Florida Southern on September 20 and added a goal and an assist at Edward Waters (Fla.) on October 3.
