Aidan Leak, a goalie from Cape Town, South Africa, was selected as the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week to open the season following a shutout against Delta Stat (Miss.), where he collected six saves. He posted another shutout on the road at Alabama in Huntsville on September 10 and at home on September 16 against Embry-Riddle. He boasts a 0.80 goals-against average this season with 21 saves over five games. His saves rank second in the SSC, and his goals-against average ranks third.
