Michael Ballard, from Lake Mary, Florida, leads the Tritons with a .401 batting average this season. He also tops the team in runs (34), doubles (12), homeruns (6), and RBIs (33). Ballard was named the SSC Player of the Week on March 6, following a .714/.750/.867 slash line over the three-game series with Barry, going 10-for-14 at the plate with seven RBIs, four runs, three doubles, and two walks. He also produced a 16-game hitting streak from March 14- April 14 and a 32-game reached base streak.
