Ballard was named the SSC Player of the Week on March 6, following a .714/.750/.867 slash line over the three-game series with Barry, going 10-for-14 at the plate with seven RBIs, four runs, three doubles, and two walks. He also produced a 16-game hitting streak from March 14- April 14 and a 32-game reached base streak.
