Richards is the female recipient of the James R. Harley Award. She was a three-year member of the women's basketball team appearing in 91 games over her Triton career. The Dunedin, New Zealand native, scored 982 career points and also served as team captain this season. She was part of three straight National Tournament appearances and led the team to the SSC Tournament Championship this season. Richards holds the program record for career field goal percentage. She also excelled in the classroom as a two-time recipient of the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
