Achuff is the male recipient of the James R. Harley Award, which is the highest honor a student-athlete can receive at Eckerd. He was a four-year starter for the baseball team appearing in 163 games over his career. The St. Petersburg, Fla. native, holds a .293 career batting average and served as team captain this season. Last season, he was instrumental in helping the team with their first Sunshine State Conference Championship in 38 years. Achuff ranks second in program history in saves and sixth in singles. He also excelled in the classroom as a three-time recipient of the SSC Spring Commissioner's Honor Roll.
