The sophomore from Mumbai, India, led the Tritons this season with a combined 16-2 record in both singles and doubles competition. Patel paired with Pierre-Olivier Lassalle to win all nine doubles matches in the No. 1 draw, including wins over No. 5 Saint Leo and No. 10 Lynn. He also won his last six singles matches out of the No. 3 slot.
