The third baseman from Venice, Fla. shook off a slow start to the season by hitting .388 over the last 12 games. He capped his hot stretch with an astonishing weekend at the Rollins College Tournament, where he slashed .765/.778/1.235 with 11 RBIs and four homeruns. After his torrid stretch at the tournament, he was named the SSC Player of the Week and NCBWA National Hitter of the Week. He leads the team with six homeruns and 20 RBIs.
