Luke Sheekey led the Tritons to two key south regional road victories, scoring the game-winning goal in both games. Against Montevallo, Sheekey assisted on the game's first goal, scored by Will Thacker, and gave the Tritons the 2-1 lead with a goal in the 83rd minute. Against Georgia Southwestern, Sheekey scored the game-winner on a penalty kick in the 16th minute to push Eckerd past the Hurricane, 1-0.
