Senior Armi Anttila's interior defense has been vital to the Eckerd women's basketball team so far this season. The native of Finland has swatted 13 shots in 10 games, leaving her four blocks away from moving into a tie for eighth all-time in program history. Anttila's efforts earned her SSC Defensive Player of the Week honors on November 12, the first of her career.
