Alex Gott ended his Eckerd career earning the Jim Harley Award as the male student-athlete of the year. ?Gott was a four-year starter in goal for the Eckerd soccer team, where he established himself as one of the premier keepers in the conference and in program history.  Gott, a native of Bedworth, England, was the SSC Defensive Player of the Year in 2016 and earned all-region honors.  He ended his career ranking third in program history in clean sheets.  Off the field, he served in leadership capacities with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.  Gott was also a multi-time selection to the SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.
