Nikole Van Gennep had a memorable weekend at the Turley Athletic Complex in leading the Eckerd softball team to a series win over ninth-ranked Saint Leo. On Friday, Van Gennep went the distance in the circle allowing just four hits and two runs (one earned) as the Tritons won the series opener.  On Saturday, she picked up another win going eight innings in the series finale, once again allowing one earned run.  She also ended the game with a walk-off single in the bottom of the eighth inning for a 3-2 win.
