Newcomer Bryan Torres had a huge weekend at the plate for Eckerd in a three-game sweep of Claflin (S.C.). The Bronx, New York, native homered in all three games and went 4-for-12 with nine RBIs.  His weekend was highlighted by a grand slam in a 16-7 win on Saturday night.  Torres added a three-run shot on Sunday.  He is currently hitting .348 with a team-leading four home runs and 11 RBIs.
