Meredith McGinnis had a big weekend at the plate for the Triton softball team while making her first starts of the season.  The junior went 4-for-12 at the plate in four games while blasting two home runs and driving in five runs.  Her two-run home run on Friday against West Georgia was the first of her career.  On Sunday, she sent another ball over the fence with a three-run shot in the first inning against No. 18 Valdosta State.
