Matheus Assumpcao was one of seven seniors on the Eckerd men's soccer team who saw their careers come to a close on October 28 with a win over Barry University.  Assumpcao's senior season was cut short due to injuries, limited to nine matches.  He had a goal and three assists in his final year, adding to a stellar junior season that produced seven goals and nine assists.  In his three years at Eckerd, Assumpcao scored 12 goals and tallied 13 assists.
