Senior Alex Gott ended his storied Eckerd career on Saturday at Johnson Field, stopping five shots as the Tritons defeated Barry, 3-1, to close the 2017 campaign.  A four-year starter at goalkeeper, Gott ranks fourth in program history in clean sheets with 13.5 and saved 267 shots during his career.  In 2015, he was named the Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Year and also earned a spot on the All-Region team.  In addition to his success on the field, Gott is a multi-time member of the SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and has served in leadership capacities on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
