Tjasa Kotnik received the highest honor for an Eckerd athlete when she was selected as the female winner of the James R. Harley Award announced on Thursday, May 5, at the ECSPYs. Kotnik stood out in both volleyball and beach volleyball in her final season at Eckerd. In the fall, she earned AVCA All-American honors as well as all-region and all-conference accolades while accumulating 480 kills and 49 aces to lead the Sunshine State Conference in both categories. In the spring, she partnered with Kaitlyn Sibson in beach volleyball to go 17-5 as a duo. Kotnik, a communications major, also excelled in the classroom and was named to the SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll.
