Emmy Laing led the Tritons to their first win of the season, a 5-4 victory over Division I Valparaiso. In the match against Valpo, Laing won her top-flight singles match, 6-2, 6-2, while combining with Amanda Teets to win at #1 doubles, 8-0. Laing also won her top-flight singles match in Eckerd's 6-3 loss to Palm Beach Atlantic.
