Banks, a native of Newport Beach, headed back to his hometown roots as a key ingredient for the sailing program's weekend success at the special-invite Rose Bowl regatta in California...The senior driver helped the Tritons to a fourth-place finish as they gradually moved up the leaderboard...Banks teamed with sophomore crew Jessica Resnick in "B" Division as they earned a pair of runner-up finishes on Sunday's final day of competition...Banks was also the team's representative to speak to an audience that also included high school athletes at a banquet...The combination of Banks/Resnick finished fourth in "B" Division.
