Johnson and the nationally-acclaimed (began the season ranked No. 11 in the country) EC women's sailing program sealed a victory against a competitive field in their season debut at the SAISA Fall Women's Championship in Charleston, S.C....Johnson is familiar with the water after transferring last season from the College of Charleston; she was one of the drivers in a pair of divisions as the Tritons beat five other teams to qualifty for districts...After racing was temporarily suspended due to storms, Johnson sailed to a pair of first-place finishes in the final two races of A division while EC's other driver, Solvig Sayre, took fourth and second, respectively...The Tritons officially qualified for the ACC Women's Championships.
