Taylor and men's soccer senior Matt Duffy were both honored as co-recipients of the James R. Harley Awards to conclude the 2012-13 campaign presented at the end-of-the-year athletics banquet.

Taylor helped pilot the men's basketball program to back-to-back NCAA Championship South Regional appearances and played in a total of 114 games at the point guard position...He finished his career among the school's all-time leaders in assists, steals and free-throw percentage while earning NABC Honors Court mention and SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll status multiple times...Taylor also held the role of two-year president of the Eckerd Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and served the Sunshine State Conference in a national representative position.

Duffy was the reigning SSC Defensive Player of the Year and earned a pair of All-South Region Team selections thanks to Daktronics (First Team) and the NSCAA (Second Team)...He was chosen as a CoSIDA Capital One First Team Academic All-American and maintained a 3.90 GPA while majoring in Economics...Duffy was a four-time selection to the SSC Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and helped guide the Tritons to the SSC Championship final against Rollins College...He compiled five goals and a pair of assists in his final season on the pitch.
