Bernier received both winning decisions in the softball program's season-opening sweep at Ave Maria University over the weekend...She tossed a complete-game three hitter in the opener before shutting down the Gyrenes with four no-hit innings in relief to close out the afternoon...Combined, Bernier hurled nine innings in the circle, walked just two and fanned a pair of hitters.
