Lydee Benoit finished her Eckerd career on a good note, leading the Tritons to a 3-1 NCAA Regional Quarterfinal victory over Nova Southeastern University on Thursday, amassing 13 kills for a .321 attack percentage while tallying eight digs. The win was the first NCAA Tournament victory in program history.
In the squad's 3-0 loss to top-seeded Tampa, Benoit posted nine kills and a stellar .412 attack percentage in a losing effort.
The program's all-time leader in kills, Benoit graduates with 1,747 kills, 588 more than any player in program history.
