Brendan Feeney joined the staff of the Eckerd sailing program in September 2019 as the assistant coach.
Familiar with the St. Pete area, Feeney was a four-year member of the nationally-ranked University of South Florida-Saint Petersburg sailing team.Â
Feeney had a standout career while at USF- St. Â Pete. He was part of two Kennedy Cup/Offshore Racing National Championship titles in offshore racing in 2016 and 2017. He also had a pair of top-five finishes at the ICSA Match Race National Championships in 2016 and 2017 while competing in the ICSA Gill Coed National Championships in three straight years from 2016-2018.Â
In addition to his collegiate career, Feeney represented the United States Sailing Team in the 2016 Western Hemisphere Orient Championship in Cabo Frio, Brazil.
In addition to his racing background, Feeney has assisted coaching both the Japan and Swiss National teams during the International Orange Bowl Regatta in December of 2018.Â
Feeney earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance from USF-St. Pete, in 2018.Â
