Tom Russin's career at Eckerd stretched from 1992-95. During his time in the Triton uniform he collected 256 hits making him the all-time hits leader in the school’s history.
The former infielder is also at the top of the career record book in extra base hits totaling 76 and total bases with 383.
Russin is top five in career numbers in several categories including singles (180), doubles (47), at bats (722), and games played (188).
His best season came in 1994 when he etched his name in the single season record book for total bases (129), extra base hits (30) and doubles in a season (17).
Russin was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 29th round of the 1995 amateur draft.
He would go on to hit 42 home runs in his six seasons as a professional baseball player.
Currently, Russin is the Owner and Operator at Aqua-Shade in Sarasota, Florida.
