O’Halloran was a 3 year starter for the Eckerd basketball team from 1973-1976.
He held the scoring record of 1,289 points in 1976, carried a 24.7-point scoring average, and was the top foul shooter with a percentage of .823.
O’Halloran surpassed the single season scoring record with 471 points in 1976.
He graduated Eckerd with a Bachelor’s of Science degree and got his Master’s in Sports Psychology from Florida State University in 1981.
O’Halloran held the position of men’s basketball coach at Lincoln High School in Washington, D.C. before becoming the Athletic Director and Dean of Students.
