  • Lefebvre was a starting centerfielder and pitcher of the 1977 baseball team, the Division II National Runner-up, garnering ABCA First Team All-American honors that season. He also led the team to an NCAA Tournament Appearance in 1976. 
  • Lefebvre played from 1976-77 and ranks in the top-10 in four categories in program history. He holds the program record for career triples with 17 while ranking second in ERA (2.15), third in slugging percentage (.670), and sixth in batting average (.375).  
  • Lefebvre also holds the program record for single-season triples with nine. Additionally, he ranks second in triples (8), third in runs scored (62), fourth in RBIs (60), fifth (30) and seventh (29) in extra-base hits, fifth in total bases (132), ninth in home runs (12).  
  • He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the third round of the 1977 free-agent draft. He made his MLB debut in 1980 with the Yankees. He also played for the Philadelphia Phillies and San Diego Padres.
  • Over his six-year MLB career, he produced a .258 batting average while hitting 31 home runs and driving in 130 runs. 
  • During his time with the Yankees, he helped lead them to the AL East title. With the Phillies, he guided the team to the National League Title and World Series appearances in 1983. 
  • After his playing career, Lefebvre spent over 10 years as the senior advisor for scouting for the San Francisco Giants.
