  • Perry played basketball for Eckerd from 1987-1990.
  • During his junior year at Eckerd he averaged 21.3 points per a game and 9.8 rebounds.
  • He was an All American candidate his senior year, where the Tritons had a record of 19-8 and came in 3rd place in the Sunshine State Conference.
  • He is Eckerd's all time leading scorer (2,072 points) and rebounder (889 rebounds).
  • From 1993-2006, Dwayne continued his basketball career in the professional path and played overseas.
  • He graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor’s in Human Resources.
  • He received his Masters of Practical Divinity in 2002 from Master’s International School of Divinity and a Masters of Education from National-Louis University in Tampa in 2009. He is currently pursuing his EDD at Jones International University.
  • Dwayne is also an elementary school teacher for 3rd grade science and math at Oak Park Elementary, as well as an Adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College.
