Eckerd College Athletics Hall of Fame

Meade led the Tritons men’s basketball team in his junior year with a 17.6 points average per a game. He set a record in his senior year with 45 points in two games. Meade’s best average points per a game was 25.4, which was second best in Florida at the time.
Meade was awarded the John F. Kennedy Memorial Award after his senior year in 1965.
Meade continues to hold several records in Eckerd’s history such as third place for free throw percentage and fourth place for rebounds per game.
